Shani Sade Sati and Shani Dhaiya are for 7½ years and Shani Dhaiya for 2½ years in a person’s life respectively. They occur due to Saturn’s movement in a Rashi at real-time in the sky.
When does Sade-sati begin in one’s life?
At the hour of birth of the person, when Saturn enters the zodiac chart preceding the zodiac sign of the moon Sade-Sati of Shani starts. E.g., if the moon sign at birth was in Taurus, then Sade-Sati will start when Saturn enters Aries.
Why this transition of Saturn is called Sade-Sati?
