Shaligram is a black stone brought from Gandaki river in Nepal. It is most revered stone worshipped by Vishnu Bhakts.

This is an open Chakra Narayan Shaligram. This shaligram represents Lord Vishnu and Krishna avatar in form of sudarshan chakras. An "open chakra Shaligram" refers to a Shaligram stone that has natural chakra-like markings, which are considered auspicious. This has 2 halves in which chakras can be seen when separated from each other.

It is considered that Shaligram stones were formed millions of years ago when Himalayas were still the ocean's floor.

They are worshipped in temples and families all over the world, as they are considered to be the visual representation of God Vishnu.
