 Shivratri Puja Vidhi (Worship Procedure)

1. Sankalp (Vow & Preparation)

  • Wake up early in Brahma Muhurta (pre-dawn) and take a holy bath.
  • Sit in a quiet place and take a vow to observe fasting and perform Shiva Puja

2. Fasting (Vrat) & Devotion 

  • Devotees observe a strict fast (Nirjala – without water, or Phalahar – consuming fruits and milk).

3. Shivling Abhishek (Sacred Bathing of Shivling)

The most important Shivratri ritual includes offerings of:

4. Offering & Worship (Puja Samagri)
